I moved to Los Angeles without a car and for the first 6 months I was still getting lost. Since I moved to LA without a car, I had all the time in the world to learn the city by public transportation and I think about a year in I had a good idea of which cities and neighborhood bordered the train lines. It will take some adjusting but when you have to get to an audition you find a way and remember- you only get lost ONCE each time, after that one time, you know the area and you won’t get lost there again.

So don’t worry about not knowing your way. You have to get lost- to learn to love this city!
